2024: A Year in Review
2024 was a year of refining our expertise and marketing new services. We're grateful to have had the opportunity to work with brilliant clients, creating meaningful visual brands and launching effective websites. We’re excited to build on our success in 2025 by supporting our current clients and taking on new work with the same passion and dedication.

A YEAR IN REVIEW HIGHLIGHTS
What we accomplished together in 2024!
JANUARY
We kicked off 2024 by working with long-time clients, ETC and Sterne Kessler. We created a summer camp postcard and in-depth legal reports.
We also held our annual work retreat, this time in Arlington, VA, to do a color analysis and style session with Melany Carlos from House of Colour.
Evelyn updated one of our older blog posts, 7 Helpful Features in 2024: Elements for an Effective Business Website.
FEBRUARY
February was BUSY! We rebranded and designed a new website for Sky Whispers Astrology.
Arlingtonopoly finally hits the shelves! We were thrilled to be asked back in 2023 to design an Arlington-themed version of Monopoly. Unfortunately, it’s sold out now! We also interviewed the Arlington Chamber of Commerce President and CEO, Kate Bates, about the making of Arlingtonopoly.
We designed a registration brochure for long-time client NeighborWorks America, announcing their Virtual Training Institute for this year.
We designed custom trivia sheets for Mandatory Fun and created new Walk and Train Program website pages for Becky’s Pet Care.
We implemented Client Spotlights in our newsletter and social media content! We love to shout out our clients and highlight their accomplishments.
Vanessa writes about our experience with Melany and How We Discovered Our Signature Styles and Colors with House of Colour.
MARCH
We launched a new website for Resurgent Sports Rehab and redesigned and rebranded the website of our longtime client, Maura Fredericks.
We created new service pages for Schroth DC and designed a landing page for Stephanie Mitchell Fitness’s new membership subscription services.
We designed a brochure for the Washington Canoe Club on behalf of Kelly Strategies.
Evelyn tells us How to Get Online Reviews and the 9 Reasons Why They’re Important in March’s blog post.
APRIL
We teamed up with the Arlington County Fair again to design the new logos for this year’s fair theme, “Kaleidoscope of Fun.” We worked with NeighborWorks again, designing a new course and registration brochure for their Training Institute in Pittsburgh, PA.
We worked with Overbrook Square Group to create a brief for her presentations.
Emily updates our popular blog about Legal Policies for Websites (USA). It’s an informative post about best practices for service-based, small business website owners, specifically in the United States.
MAY
A major highlight of this month was starting the Condo1 brand messaging and website redesign.
Our team also focused on smaller yet impactful updates for various clients. We added new articles and logos to Amy Brecount White’s website and refreshed some of the photos on Becky’s Pet Care to reflect the changes in their team.
Evelyn takes over this month’s Arlington Chamber of Commerce community roundtable with a presentation on Strategy for Getting More 5-Star Reviews From Your Clients/Customers.
Emily writes our May blog on Understanding the Differences Between Domain Names, Registration, Hosting, Transfer and Connection.
JUNE
As the summer months arrived, our team worked on a variety of projects, highlighting our versatility and skill in print and digital media.
We continued our work with the Arlington County Fair. To promote their event, we created impactful digital ads and a full-page print ad to be featured in the Gazette Leader.
We created an anniversary logo for a new client, ACO Insurance, and a commemorative coin design to celebrate ACO’s 5th year in business.
We launched the Condo1 website! After launch, we continued to refine its design and functionality to create a seamless user experience.
Vanessa updated our blog this month with a post on Why A Good Logo Is Important For Your Small Business, emphasizing the importance of a strong visual identity for brand success.
JULY
July was a month of several exciting projects and new clients!
We welcomed Carolina Sleep Therapy into our fold and began to define its branding, website design, and marketing materials.
We launched a Spanish Landing page for client Condo1 and worked on MLS Data/Site Building Review to ensure the site met their local and international needs.
We designed a sleek new business card for Turning Phrases that communicates Beth’s services clearly and stylishly.
We created a Community Leadership Initiative brochure for NeighborWorks and updated several clients’ websites, including Resurgent Sports Rehab and CullenLaw, enhancing functionality and user experience.
Emily updated our blog post on 25 Questions to Ask Your Website Designer, providing valuable insight into the website design process for those looking to take their digital presence to the next level. This is still one of our most popular blog posts to date!
AUGUST
August was all about refinement and executing high-quality design work across a variety of projects.
We finished our work for the Arlington County Fair, creating a program and 1-Page Flyer for the event.
We launched the Carolina Sleep Therapy website and conducted training with Molly to ensure she was comfortable managing her site.
Designed an impactful AFCO brochure showcasing their real-estate opportunity at the Laredo International Airport.
We also designed the Taste of Fall Reception invitation for Food & Friends, a nonprofit organization that provides food to people with critical illnesses.
Emily’s blog this month focused on How to Choose the Right Logo File Format, helping clients understand the technical side of logo design and ensuring they had the right assets for their branding needs.
SEPTEMBER
We started working on Hava NaBaby, a new website and logo design project.
We created a marketing brochure for Condo1 and updated the website’s building and contact forms to streamline the company's marketing efforts.
We designed a sales proposal and lead magnet for client Niki Wanner to help drive more traffic to her website.
We also worked on various graphic design projects. We updated the Stephanie Mitchell Fitness logos with a new tagline to further align the brand with its mission and created business cards and pamphlets for Carolina Sleep Therapy.
This month, our design team had the unique opportunity to attend Squarespace Circle Day in New York City, expanding our knowledge and skills to create better websites for our clients.
Evelyn shared her experience participating in Lisa Damico’s 40 Over 40 Photoshoot and wrote a blog post on 9 Tips to Prepare for a Fashion Photo Shoot.
OCTOBER
October was exciting as we began working with two new clients, We’re Good and Bespoke Business Advisory, helping them create standout brands with custom logos and websites.
We also designed a promo card for Stephanie Mitchell Fitness and crafted LinkedIn announcements and brochures for AFCO. We also knocked out NeighborWorks' fourth brochure of the year, this time advertising their Training institute in Philadelphia.
Vanessa updated our blog What Makes a Great Website in 2024? The Do’s and Don’ts offering valuable guidance on modern web design practices and trends.
NOVEMBER
We began working with Oliver Properties, a longstanding client, to redesign their website.
We also launched the Hava NaBaby website, marking a major milestone for the project!
We were also thrilled to welcome Ignite Motivation, a new client with whom we began work on their branding and website design.
DECEMBER
As the year comes to a close, we are focused on finishing up several key projects:
We are working on year-in-review reports for Sterne Kessler, and continuing to design the websites of Oliver Properties and Ignite Motivation.
Emily is keeping the team on track while Evelyn and Vanessa head around the world for the holidays.
We’re also gearing up for a fresh new year of exciting projects, including a collaboration with The Hidden Narrative, which will kick off in January.
