Ignite Impact Partners (IIP) is a consulting firm helping mission-driven organizations bridge the gap between broad vision and practical execution.
When Sarah Stremlau, founder of Ignite Impact Partners, came to us for a logo, she had a clear sense of her mission but wasn’t sure how it could be brought to life visually. She had explored a few AI-generated ideas on design.com, giving her some initial direction, but none of those concepts felt like her. The AI logos were used as a starting point to get ideas, but she knew she needed something more profound, with a human touch, that resonated with her company’s energy and purpose. Sarah wanted her logo to feel dynamic, energetic, and calm; to represent movement, momentum, and growth without being overwhelming or flashy.
From our first conversation and examples she sent, she expressed a love for minimal, geometric elements with lines, circles, pyramids, and diamond shapes; she wanted structure without feeling rigid. She had strong feelings about color: blues, greens, maybe touches of yellow, but no pinks or reds.
The typography had to be a Google font, which is free to download and would easily integrate with the Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools she used every day. Overall, she wanted a clean, modern, and uncluttered design to set the tone for her logo, website and brand.
Initially, we planned to source and customize stock art for her logo mark, but the more we learned about Sarah’s work and the mission behind Ignite Impact Partners, we felt pulled to create original art. The way she talked about sparking action, building meaningful partnerships, and driving real growth—it felt too purposeful for anything off the shelf. We wanted to reflect the care and intention she brings to her clients in design.
We created a bold, minimalist, symmetrical symbol of two strong vertical lines in the center representing the double-I in “Ignite Impact”, flanked by smooth, curved lines on each side that ripple out. That central line represents the spark: the ignition point where ideas and partnerships come alive. The surrounding curves and color tones suggest movement, collaboration, and the ripple effect of her work. It’s simple but layered with meaning, just like her approach. We also created a tagline version of her logo, including her slogan, “Sparking Action, Fueling Growth.”
For the typography, we selected Albert Sans, a modern geometric sans serif font that’s easy to use and read across all digital and print platforms. It’s approachable and confident, perfectly in step with the brand's tone. Left-aligning and stacking the business name visually connects the words to the icon and creates a tight lock-up with the g and p tucked into the words below them. Triple-stacked wordmarks like this are often associated with high-level academic and cultural institutions, symbolizing authority and expertise. The icon and wordmark work independently and together.
Color-wise, we leaned into the palette she naturally gravitated toward: deep teals and mid-tone greens that feel grounded and trustworthy, with lighter green accents to convey vitality and optimism. Steering clear of warm tones supported the overall feel of calm and professionalism while still being fresh and energetic.
The final result is a logo that feels clean, intentional, and completely tailored to Sarah’s vision. It’s simple and powerful and is already helping shape the broader look and feel of Ignite Impact Partners’ brand. Sarah can feel confident using it across every touchpoint, knowing it’s a true reflection of her mission and values.
