OVERVIEW

Ann Wilson has been a real estate agent for over 18 years and, in that time, has done a lot of traditional marketing and built a strong referral network, especially in Arlington, Virginia.

After Ann’s son Sean joined the business, she wanted to tell their story that would begin to build Sean’s online authority in the DMV real estate market. She also wanted to accurately reflect their honest, professional values and highlight the personalized experience they provide to each client.

They’ve recently started doing a monthly promotional show called American Dream TV that shows lifestyle, points of interest, and an Ann Wilson Homes property. We made sure that it got top billing on the homepage.

We work with our web content writer consultant, Monika Jansen, who wrote keyword-rich rotating headlines and content for their website, and Tamzin Smith, who created custom photography of the AWH team in Ballston, Arlington.

We also hired professional models to pose as prospective clientele for the photo shoot because showing client interaction engenders trust.

We created an Areas page highlighting all the varied neighborhoods Ann and Sean focus on, and we created custom photo images for each to give it an up-to-the-minute feel.

This “neighborhoods blog” aims to populate it with content that reflects all the inside information that an agent would know that can help their clients make the best possible decision when buying a home—schools, restaurants, dog parks, etc.

Since Ann is affiliated with Keller Williams, her previous site was very red. She wanted her new site to be clean, cool, and sophisticated—and NO RED. We streamlined her logo to emphasize the “W” in Ann Wilson Homes to make it more flexible in social media and other contexts.

One other thing we thought that was very important to pull out is AWH’s philanthropic nature. Ann is incredibly generous with her time and money, supporting many events, nonprofits, and causes.

We’re really happy with how the website turned out, and so is AWH!
