Stephanie Mitchell Fitness
Stephanie Mitchell is a certified personal trainer and menopause coach specializing in women’s fitness. We worked with her to create her brand story and build a modern website that clearly communicates her services to her ideal clients and how to purchase them!
We originally designed Stephanie’s logo in 2019, emphasizing SMF—her business name acronym—and the first letters of the words in her tagline. In 2025, she needed a visual rebrand and website overhaul.
OLD LOGO DESIGN
The old logo for Stephanie Mitchell Fitness was based on our original discussion during the Power Plan. Stephanie is a super bubbly southern girl who LOVES circles and pink. She also gave us insight into what motivates her. She’d taken a story brand test, and the results were Lover › individuals are most fulfilled by building relationships. Naturally appreciative, passionate, and committed, they enjoy creating consensus and motivating others to see and utilize their special gifts. They're usually excited and challenged by opportunities to enjoy the richness and fullness of life.
We incorporated the pink circle with her initials using a curvy, art deco-inspired typeface. The M curves symmetrically on either side, which is perfect for placing a heart right in the center because the heart is at the center of everything Stephanie does. We kept it simple so she could put it on walls, stickers, t-shirts, hats, and all her social media channels!
NEW LOGO DESIGN
The old logo served Stephanie well, but her business has evolved, and her visual brand needed to as well. For this brand and website evolution, the keyword was “simplify.” The font is updated to a modern, highly readable sans serif Google font and her business name is set in all caps to match the icon’s boldness. It’s professional and friendly.
The new logo icon kept the pink fuchsia circle, curvy “M” and refined pink heart. It focuses on the M of Stephanie’s last name, Mitchell, and her core focus: Menopause.
The new simplified logo has the same design style with a refreshed look, so her audience will recognize the reference at a glance. But the new logo creates a fresh feeling. Its updated, modern, simple design is better suited to a mobile-first world that can look good on anything.
The heart above the M, which could be interpreted as a woman’s body/legs, is placed in the womb area, subtly communicating that Stephanie’s business is singularly and lovingly focused on women’s health, fitness, wellness, and creating a community of women in menopause.
The icon can be used as a standalone graphic or in combination with the wordmark, with or without the tagline. The tagline is renewed with explicit language about her business's services and who they are for. The primary business name dropped the word “fitness” and is simplified to just her name. This decision was due to her business pivoting from just personal training services to a broad offering of her new community, ChangeHER, which encompasses more than just fitness.
With the new ChangeHER community and podcast, Stephanie also needed supporting graphics to promote them. We designed the branding and sub-logo for the sales landing page and podcast.
PODCAST LOGO DESIGN
The podcast logo uses the same font and colors as the primary logo and website. It is set in a mix of bold upper- and lowercase letters for an approachable and casual vibe. This makes the logo easier to read and visually appealing, especially in a digital environment.
The icon is a circle with a heart and the letters C and H. It also uses the script font throughout her website and brand materials to tie it together.
