OVERVIEW

Ellis Elliot of Bewilderness Writing discovered the transformational process of writing freely and fast, never allowing the pen to leave the paper. This timed practice allows one to bypass the inner critic and helps one connect with the creative subconscious in a powerful and healing way. 

An experienced and exceptional teacher, Ellis had initially begun sharing this practice with others via a private Facebook group. Meeting weekly and using writing prompts that are thought-provoking, she guides her students to their truth by creating a brave space to be vulnerable, honest, and authentic. 

She was seeking a way to formalize and monetize her writing practice and coaching services and booked a Power Plan with us.

Because Ellis is multi-talented, she wasn’t totally certain about her direction. But in our initial conversation, we strategized the messaging for her new website and helped her clarify what her core offerings are and how she will engage them.

We focused on the problems this core audience has and how free writing addresses them. The visuals are a combination of stock plus Ellis’ mixed media. We used varied CTA’s (calls to action), along with selected quotes.

We developed her branding with design elements such as typography, color, and custom icons and wrote her content. Lastly, we set up her scheduling which doubles as a payment gateway.
