Carolina Sleep Therapy provides telehealth occupational sleep therapy services to patients of all ages in North and South Carolina.

Founder Molly Young opened her business in 2024 to offer direct access to sleep therapy. She is on a mission to be the leading provider of non-pharmacological, evidence-based interventions for children, adults, and seniors experiencing sleep disorders.

Molly wanted to create a brand identity with a professional, medical, and friendly look and feel. We created a clean, inspirational logo icon communicating day and night using sun, moon, seeds, stars, and flower symbolism. Her brand typeface is a sturdy contemporary humanist sans serif family that is readable, corporate, and fits print and web design applications.

The vibrant, high-contrast colors are accessible and eye-catching and work extremely well with the playful recolored stock illustrations, which communicate the struggles of sleep problems and the joys of a good night's sleep.

Molly provided enough information about her business that we wrote the main website page content, SEO titles, and descriptions. We also designed and formatted all the content and page layouts, formatted blog posts, did custom website styling, transferred the domain, set up Google Workspace email and website legal policies, wrote alt text, created email lists, designed her free download pdfs and more!

It was important to us to convey a sense of well-being, whimsy, and confidence in the layout, as therapy-related content is often heavy. The website has a minimal design, is easy to navigate and comprehend the services, speaks clearly to its target audience, and motivates users to click the call to action to schedule a call, connect, and hire Molly!

Logo Design and Visual Identity

Carolina Sleep Therapy is an occupational therapy clinic founded by Molly Young. She specializes in sleep disorders and provides telehealth sleep therapy in the Carolinas for all ages.

Molly’s business name includes Carolina to describe the states in which she operates. Her favorite flower is a sunflower, and she wanted to incorporate that symbolism into the logo to represent brighter days for her patients struggling with disordered sleep.

Inside the sunflower is a night sky with a negative space crescent moon and sunflower seeds that double as stars in the distant sky. The logo concept communicates day and night, both affected by sleep and has a positive, joyful atmosphere. It's a unique way to convey multiple concepts within one shape.

The circle icon is perfect for use in social media, and the simple shapes scale nicely. The logo also differs from competitors in her industry, so her branding will be noticed.

The deep blue and bright yellow create a strong contrast that is accessible and user-friendly. Paired with the icon is a clean all-caps type lockup that’s easy to read quickly and in all sizes. We also created a logo version with an inspirational tagline, Better Nights, Brighter Days.
